Clare Akumu holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance. While her academic background is in finance, her true passion lies in advocating for the well-being and education of children. Since 2019, Clare has been actively working with children and adolescents, mentoring them to become leaders and change-makers. She believes that children hold the potential for transformative change, and a strong education system is key to unlocking that potential. In addition to her work in education, Clare has four years of experience in community development, advocacy, and partnership strengthening. Her ability to build and nurture partnerships has been crucial in advancing initiatives that support children’s growth and development. Outside of her professional life, Clare enjoys writing, reading, cooking, and exploring new places through travel, continuously seeking inspiration and growth.
